You couldn’t make it up

The latest guest blog post from one of the Exiles anthology authors is over at Paul Brazill’s blog now – and what a blinder! Gareth Spark gives the lowdown on the background to his story ‘The Solomon Sea’, which is based on, or at least inspired by, an incredible real-life mining fraud from Canada in the 1990s.

It’s an incredible tale of land acquisition, gold ‘discoveries’, and boom and bust, and a real case of truth being stranger than fiction. You really couldn’t make this one up (unless, possibly, you were Tom Clancy. It’d be right up his street).

So pop on over to Paul’s blog for a fascinating history lesson on the rise and fall of international fraud on a massive scale.
